The seminar series is also known as DONUTS due to the fact that donuts of variable kinds are invariably served and eaten at the close of the seminar. It is also an acronym whose meaning is the focus of an ongoing competition. The current titleholder is "Discussion Of Nugatory and Unasinous Topics Series".
